Privacy Policy

SIGNR operates at signr.live. We provide A&R feedback tools and educational content for electronic music producers. For privacy questions, contact us at support@signr.live.

We collect the following personal data:

• Email address, when you sign up for our newsletter, create an account, or purchase the Playbook.
• Payment data, handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. We never see or store your credit card details.
• Usage data, a limited record of how you use SIGNR, for example when a report is opened or a checkout is started. If you are logged in or have given us your email address, this record is linked to it. We also note which website, campaign or partner link first brought you to SIGNR. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising or screen-recording tools.
• Account data, if you create an account (email and password via Supabase Auth), we store your email, a securely hashed password, and a session token.

Audio files are processed temporarily for measurement. The processing code deletes the temporary file when it finishes, including handled failures. Audio is not part of your saved report and is not sent to the model that writes your analysis. The measurements derived from your audio (such as loudness, frequency balance, and scores) are stored with your account so you can revisit reports, compare versions, and track progress. We may use these measurements in aggregated, anonymized form (never your audio, never identifiable) to improve scoring accuracy and provide statistics such as percentiles.

How long we keep things. Audio uses temporary processing storage, as described above. The measurements and the report built from them are kept for as long as your account exists, so you can revisit and compare your tracks. You can ask us to delete them at any time by emailing support@signr.live.

We also store a fingerprint of each uploaded file. It cannot be turned back into audio. We use it to recognise when the same file is uploaded again.

• To send you the free chapter and welcome email sequence you opted into
• To provide access to gated Playbook content via your account
• To measure the track you upload, generate the report you requested, and retain its measurements and results so you can revisit it
• To understand how SIGNR is used and how visitors find us, so we can improve it
• If you arrive through a partner link, to credit that partner for a purchase

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers.

We use the following sub-processors:

• Lemon Squeezy, payment processing, EU VAT compliance, refunds. Acts as Merchant of Record and handles payment data under their own GDPR compliance.
• Resend, email delivery. Your email address is processed by Resend to send the messages you asked for. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
• Railway, audio processing. Your uploaded file is sent here to be measured using a temporary file. The processing code removes that file when processing finishes, including handled failures.
• Anthropic, written analysis. The measurements and the track details you provide are sent to generate the report text. Your audio file is never sent.
• Supabase, authentication and database. Servers in EU region.
• Vercel, hosting and edge functions. EU region where possible.
• Cloudflare, bot protection (Turnstile) on our sign-up and sign-in forms. To tell people and automated requests apart, Cloudflare processes technical signals such as your IP address and browser information, under its own Turnstile privacy terms.

As an EU resident, you have the right to:

• Access, request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Deletion, request we delete your account and associated data
• Correction, request we correct inaccurate data
• Portability, request your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection, object to certain types of processing

To exercise these rights, email support@signr.live. We will respond within 30 days.

You can withdraw a consent you gave us, such as for our mailing list, at any time. If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the data protection authority in your country.

We keep your email address for as long as you have an account or are subscribed to our mailing list. If you unsubscribe, we stop sending you marketing emails and keep a note that you unsubscribed, so you are not added again by mistake. We can still send you emails about your account, purchases or reports.

You can request deletion of your account and personal data by emailing support@signr.live. We will handle your request and tell you what we deleted and what we have to keep, such as payment records.

Payment records are kept in line with applicable tax and accounting requirements.

We may update this policy as our product evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
